HORSES AND PEOPLE HELPING EACH OTHER
Offering the best equine assisted therapies in Georgia since 2007
Mission
To provide care, comfort, consideration, support, peace, and healing to horses and humans in need by providing Atlanta's premier equine assisted therapy programs and community outreach programs inclusive of but, not limited to, therapeutic riding, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP), and Art Barn.
Description
As featured on FOX 5 Atlanta and OZ Magazine and The Atlantan Magazine we are a private ranch providing rescued horses a chance to Rescue kids, teens, and adults. This ranch is a refuge of over 20 acres and is a place to live, laugh, cry, heal, love, and enjoy the precious moments which make up the present. Sometimes the world can be a scary place full of challenges we cannot meet or hardships we cannot understand. In an effort to provide much needed therapeutic services and support, we offer this private space and professional service to those in need.
We offer a sanctuary to those who have been bullied and preyed upon because they are unique or different. We help clients find their voice and learn to be "heard in the herd". We celebrate diversity and horses of a different color. Those who learn differently, those who are unique, those who may be misunderstood are all safe and welcomed. We understand the possibilities are Endless and encourage you to visit Endless Ribbon Foundation. Inc at www.erfinc.org to learn more about supporting Diversity within our communities.
Our programs are excellent.
Our therapeutic instructors are PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horseback Riding) certified.
Our equine specialists are EAGALA (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association) certified.
Our programs offer direct individual attention with smaller group sizes instead of cramped groups with little individual attention. Our horses have been rescued and given a forever home where they receive kindness and amicable interactions coupled with excellent medical/ veterinary care and rehabilitation programs.
Safety Information
We are EAGALA and Path certified.
Our psychologist, Darnyl Katzinger, Psy.D., is licensed in the state of Georgia and specializes in working with children, teens, and families.
